It's so hard to believe that Stella is two months old already. She is going today to get her first round of shots - I am not so excited about this! We'll also find out how much she weighs, we are guessing a lot as she is so big!!
JUST GOT BACK: she's 13 lb 4 oz, 24 inches long, with a head circumference of 15 inches. In other words, she's huge.
In big news, STELLA IS SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT. I don't care if I'm jinxing us by writing it out, it is super exciting to get a full night's sleep as a new parent!! We have been putting her down to sleep around 10pm, and she wakes up around 6:30am. Woo hoo!! (Of course, now that I've shared it with the world, she'll probably regress tonight...)
Stella is SO interactive now. She smiles and coos, and loves to look at your face. She is mesmerized by her bouncy seat and mobile - she will go from all-out wailing and screaming to quiet cooing in about 30 seconds if you put her in the crib and turn on the mobile!!
Stella made her first trip to see the grandparents last week. She got to meet Great Grandpa Vechinsky, who is 97 and was so delighted to meet his second Great Granddaughter.
What a big difference over the past two months:
